'H' is for Hopelessly In the yellow creases of bound novels'H' is for Hopelessly by ~dance-of-aquaiu
Eating shadows under the candlelight,
And faraway from frosted windows
Where legends dance 'round forest campfires
Witnessed by the older-than-magic moon,
In the sway of your robes and the swoop of your messengers
It's the same old sappy story.
Girl loves everyone
And boy loves girl.
I hate the way
The universe unfolds before you
Fortune climbs towards you
Like a puppy, playing to catch that honey gaze.
I hate the peals of daytime laughter that interrupt my midnight
And how you come splashing through the trees
Defying logic, as usual
As if grace when accomplishing the impossible
Was so

Vitality He is shape, colour,Vitality by ~dance-of-aquaiu
And line: An artist's life goal;
Their last smiling breath.
He is a poem
That doesn't need words; exists
Perfectly. Each pore.
He is a soul's flight
And a heart's landing. Breathless,
He's singing with it.

Logic tells me that darkness is absence of light Somehow the black voidLogic tells me that darkness is absence of light by ~dance-of-aquaiu
Behind your bold stare
Never seems to come close
To the fall of your hair
And the impact of knowing
The depth of your sin
Is removed by the water
Running over your skin
And I sift through the pages
But nothing explains
How your burning delusions
Got inside of my veins
All the letters and numbers
Dissolve into air
As I whisper sweet nothings
To a boy who's not there.

Our Peace There is no war here. Our Peace by ~dance-of-aquaiu
Just flags and trumpet fanfares crackling over the evening broadcast
Momentarily disturbing the glassy equilibrium in the living room
Derelict songs lying in schoolbooks and on record shelves; dusty, as if half-buried by dirt in the trenches
Run-down RSL clubs gathering history, skeletal grants and soft glances like moths to the campfire
Girls in autumn dresses clutching letters from their fathers
Like wishing stars
And minutes of silence.
There is no war here.
